My name sounds like ‘Gavin’ but a ‘D’ instead of ‘G.’ To make it easy, most of my friends call me ‘Avi’. 

Holland, MI is my hometown and I am currently studying at the College for Creative Studies in Detroit. I have been focusing on art direction since 2020 with a desire to work in the graphic design industry.

When I want to stay creative outside of design, my favorite pastime is mixed media art. Anything from painting canvases to 3D modeling, I love keeping my brain and hands busy.




Aside from my creative endeavors, I love to analyze movies and TV. I have been working on expanding on my library since I got to CCS, graphic novels are a great love of mine and make up a bulk of what I collect. Of course I dabble in games when I find the time, mainly playing multiplayer games with friends. 

I try to balance my hobbies and work as best as I can because I believe that is what makes a great designer, one who explores the environments they love and can weave those influences in to their work.
